You have been working hard and living like a saint, but now you need to learn how to maintain a youthful look so you don’t end up wasting all the hard work and let your self fall back into bad habits that will undo all the good.

Nobody said it was going to be easy but still you pushed forward and did all the right things to get yourself fighting fit and living in a body 10 years younger than your years, so what now?

As you have read this blog you already know the basics of rejuvenating your body and mind using exercise, intake, environmental awareness, getting sleep, and cutting down on stress, smoking alcohol, and caffeine, just to touch on the tip of the iceberg.

Foods For Youthful Appearance

Your lifestyle changes such as reframing from excessive consumption and cutting out the poisons from your daily intake, the next thing to really dedicate yourself to is a plant-based food intake for your sake and the sake of the planet. For most, it will probably difficult thing to do because of the pressure from friends and family who don’t necessarily understand the details and the dangers of the “common” diet over the pros of healthy intake.

This is something you will need to be mindful of because most people don’t want to know, don’t want to change, and that’s not your fault or even your responsibility, so don’t beat yourself up. All you can do is explain what you are doing, why you are doing it, and the results you are seeing. If they see the benefits they can ask questions of you, but otherwise, this is your time to look after yourself as your number one responsibility.

Essentially, this book invites you to understand what it is you are eating and ask if you are getting the benefits you are expecting. It’s a real eye-opener.

Maintaining A Youthful Appearance

By the time you are feeling and seeing the benefits of your new lifestyle changes, hopefully, it’s become second nature to you, and not only are you happy to continue to practice your good habits, but you will positively want and need to continue on this path, feeling no pangs of loss for your previous life.

This is when you know you have made the transition from that person with a standard diet consisting of processed foods, red meats, empty carbs, and generally unbalanced, unhealthy products from Big-Super Market Inc, and now enjoy a healthy and balanced “intake” which is different than “diet“.

At this point, you should be eating the correct foods in the correct amounts at the correct time, while enjoying an active life, without missing any of the old rubbish that you used to throw down your throat. At this point, I just want to make something clear.

That is: Even when you are at this point it doesn’t mean you can not enjoy what I will describe as “Junk food” because as Allan Carr says in his weight loss book, there is a “junk margin”¬† where you can eat what you like.

Never Stop Pushing

It’s highly unlikely by the time you are at this stage you will feel like “falling off the wagon” but if you do have thoughts of junk food it’s okay because you can indulge so long as you don’t make it an everyday prospect, and besides, you will no doubt find that eating healthy is cheaper and makes you feel better, so it’s not a likely situation.

Even if you do have the odd pang for a cheeseburger it’s probably you will look at your new chiseled shape and think better of it.
