Andropause Natural Treatment

andropause natural treatment

We have all heard of the menopause and made allowances to support those we love, but we don’t hear too much about andropause the male equivalent, so is there an andropause natural treatment available to men who don’t want to sink into old age?

With age comes wisdom, hopefully, but it’s not all that comes with it. Although many of us love maturing and feel more relaxed and secure in our own minds and body’s there are some downsides that I want to explore here.

During the andropause, men begin to produce less and less testosterone meaning all those features that make us male are in jeopardy, from low sperm production, muscle wastage, hair loss, brittle bones, and less energy. These are just some physical symptoms of the andropause, but there are psychological issues involved in this process, and it’s these I want to touch in the next section to understand if andropause for males can be countered.

Psychological Cost Of Andropause

Sadly, there is a darker side to the andropause caused by deep psychological challenges faced by men in their later years. It’s not just the Alfa-Male that faces these difficulties after years of good health and virality to suddenly feel less of a man.

Work may have finished the family has grown up and moved on, and now the last straw is the body blow of the andropause that threatens to take away your very identity as a man. Dramatic? Maybe, but it’s a common situation to find men in this situation to fall into depression.

Faced with this, more than one million people take their lives worldwide each year, men being four times more likely to commit suicide than women in America alone. Of course, not everyone who falls into a depression will take their own life but its effects can still be profound, impacting badly on health and their loved ones. If a career is a going concern this can also suffer badly making the situation worse still.

Unfortunately, even in this very modern world, many men suffer from the symptoms of advanced depression such as feelings of hopelessness, guilt, helplessness, low mood, inability to feel pleasure, lack of energy, insomnia, all compounded by the fear or inability to reach out for help.

Breaking The Cycle

break the cycle

There are ways to break out of the cycle of negativity and they are probably too obvious to notice, but following these guidelines could turn the situation around. for example, through this blog, I have talked about living a healthy life and how the worst threat to public health is diet.

So let’s start there.
The first step in a multi-step process you need to think about what you eat and maintain a healthy diet. Again, obvious stuff, fruit, veg, whole-grain foods, leafy veg, oily fish like salmon or sardines. Stay away from fat, salt, sugar, and any processed foodstuffs, and avoid excessive caffeine and alcohol.

Step two is to stay active in body and mind. Does matter what you do but get exercise and burn some calories, it will release endorphins, help lose weight, tone muscle, and help you sleep at night.

Step three is helped by step two because what you want to aim for is seven hours of sleep per night. Yep, I know, its seems impossible, and I am still working on this one myself. But, it’s worth the effort when you wake up refreshed.

Step four again follows on from step three, because if you are not sleeping well, perhaps practicing relaxation techniques will help. This could be the exercise you have started, but if that’s not helping it could be something like yoga, massage, herbal drinks, hypnosis, or cognitive behavior therapy.

Step five is to review your lifestyle because you could be pushing yourself too hard. After all, what’s the point of worrying yourself to death over a situation you have no control over. This is something you could learn in cognitive behavior therapy.

Step six is to drop everything and take up a hobby or go on holiday. Do anything that takes you away from the things that cause you stress. let somebody else worry about it.

Step seven is possibly the most difficult for some men. Here we go; Don’t bottle it up…don’t end up going “postal”! See, we even have an expression for it.

Last step. This step is something you can consider if you still feel you need help and I will talk about this in more detail later, but human growth hormone (HGH) releaser can be a positive dietary supplement, helping to reduce the effects of aging, including fewer wrinkles, less body fat, increased lean muscle mass and enhanced sex drive.

Live Longer & Happier

live longer and happier

If living longer and feeling better isn’t your thing then no need to read any further but if you think it could be a blast then let’s take a closer look.

The first thing to do is re-iterate the need to re-evaluate your lifestyle which involves mental and physical sidesteps in order to make slight changes which cumulatively change your life for the better. We already know smoking and drinking are an issue if you are stressed or depressed but let’s focus on the dietary intake that can change our lives.

Think in color. Fruits and veggies that are orange and green are rich in alpha-carotene. Studies have linked high blood levels of alpha-carotene reducing the risk of cancer, heart disease, and Alzheimer’s. This is because they’re rich in antioxidants that fight free radical molecules that damage DNA, proteins, and fats in cells.

A 14-year study, recently published in the Archives of Internal Medicine, researchers studied the link between alpha-carotene blood levels and mortality in 15,318 adults aged 20 and older. Those with higher alpha-carotene levels had a 39% lower risk of dying from cancer, cardiovascular disease, and similar killers of adults.

The effect of alpha-carotene was particularly strong against cancers of the upper digestive tract (esophagus, larynx, and pharynx), type 2 diabetes, and lower respiratory disease.

Basically, if I told you to eat your fruit and veg then leave processed junk food laced with salt, sugar, fats, take a holiday and exercise, that would be enough to help make your life better. But sometimes it just not enough and now I want to talk a little about Provacyl™.
